My Supplement Stack

A few of you guys have requested suggestions for supplement stacks. Soon I’ll be creating a stack for beginners and advanced users too. So, for the month of May, the supplements I use are

NOW Foods Super EPA (fish oil)
Natrol Multiple (multivitamins)
4Ever Fit 4Ever Whey (Chocolate) (whey blend)
Magnum Quattro (protein isolate blend)
Magnum Big C (advanced creatine formula)
Magnum A-Bomb (advanced arginine formula)
Magnum Heat (fat burner)
Magnum Acid (CLA)
Scivation Xtend (BCAA & Glutamine blend)

Do note that now I’m in precontest mode. So I’m concentrating on losing weight for now. During my off-season (mass gaining) phase, I’ll have a mass gainer and no fat burners.

And here’s my schedule of when I take my supplements.

Before Breakfast – 3x Magnum Heat, 3x Magnum Acid, 2x Natrol Multiple, 2x Super EPA

Before Lunch – 3x Magnum Heat, 3x Magnum Acid

Pre-Workout – Magnum A-Bomb, Magnum Big C

During Workout – Scivation Xtend

Post-Workout – Magnum Big C, Magnum Quattro, glucose

As for the whey, I take it as replacement for meals or as additional protein source if I feel that I’ve not taken enough protein from my diet.

I wish that I can afford those supplements. I can see that those supplements really work. Your body is so perfect. I want to have a body like that.

i want the tyrosine. or do u know of any similar products i can get in singapore?

  3. Nope. Not anywhere that I know of. Plus, this is not a very good supplement. It concentrates mostly on just megadosing L-Tyrosine. Doesn't have any Caffeine, BCAA, Glutamine, Arginine. Very incomplete.

hi, just wanted to know if its possible to get this product: PowerDrive (http://www.tmuscle.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance_bodybuilding_supplements/power_drive;jsessionid=CE7F91580447FD4FCCB118D2F069E4FA-hh.hydra) in Singapore?

hope you can help since you appear rather knowlegeable in supps! :)

    cheers and thanks man!

  5. Ahem. If you look at the directions on your multis, it says, "take WITH a meal", not specifically before or after? Why? The idea is to take it when there's stomach acids in your digestive system and when your body is ready to eat and absorb nutrients – meal time. And food gets mixed up in your stomach. So it won't make a difference.

As for supplements, that's your stand. But you think aspiring bodybuilders will settle for second best?

I always tell my clients, "take the amount of supplements that reflect on your training".

If you take lots of supplements and train a little, you're wasting your money.

If you train a lot and take only the basics, you're undermining your results and wasted that few extra pounds of muscle that you could have gained.

And if you see the amount of food that I take other than just supplements, you won't think the way you do.

  6. you got that right, multivits would be better if taken after a meal. not being choosy, its for maximizing the absorption.

i agree with wilson, thats just too much for supps and its not about how much one can spend. i would suggest to stick with the basic supps like whey and creatine also focus on real foods to cover your daily requirements. its a lot cheaper and you'll able to enjoy the feeling of fullness from real foods.

  7. When you earn your own money, you'll take just as much as me bro. Vits? No need so choosy. As long as it's close to your breakfast time.

that's a lot of supplements. I thought multi's should be taken after a meal?
