I guess I can say this is my best weight loss supplement stack… So far, that is. Using this stack I’m able to lose weight pretty fast (10kg in 8 weeks) and still maintain quite a lot of my strength (actually, I credit that to my radical new training style too, which I will blog about soon). Anyway, here’s the weight loss supplements I’m taking now and a brief explanation of why I’m taking them.

Health & Maintenance
Good ol’ multivitamins for all my vitamins and minerals needs. Just pop one in daily and all you need to worry about are your macronutrients.
Boosts heart health to promote circulatory system function resulting in improved cardiovascular gains and subsequent fat loss. Plus, it promotes healthy cholesterol levels.
My daytime protein. Anabolic. Good absorption rate. CHEAP. Yum yum!
The perfect post-workout protein. 100% isolates for bloat-free digestion and a mix of fast and slow-digesting protein for maximum anabolism (such a mix has been shown to be more anabolic than whey alone).
A slow-digesting protein source to keep me out of catabolic state while I sleep. Pardon its appearance. I keep my protein tubs under my desk so I rest my feet on them sometimes. Don’t worry. They’re always tightly close when I do that. 🙂
I’ve switch from an economy BCAA brand to USPLabs because of its compelling advantage – a 8:1:1 BCAA ratio. That means there’s more Leucine in the mix. And as some of you might already know, Leucine is the single most anabolic amino acid in our diet and is known to trigger some anabolic pathways in our gene. I take this during my workouts to keep me going.
Ahhh… the ultra-concentrated pre-workout formula the whole bodybuilding world has been raving about. After hearing many positive reviews about it, I just must get it. And I did! What do I think about it so far? Not bad. I can actually last longer during my workouts and I’m still jumping around like a bunny after that. Plus, it’s free of sugar (ok, it has sucralose but that’s an indigestable sugar) and calories so it doesn’t interferes with my diet.
My choice of caffeine-based fat burner. Gives me the energy I need and ignites my fat-burning furnace.

Very often, we ignore the importance of sleep, which is a very important part of the bodybuilding equation. This supplement really helps. Few minutes after taking it, I will… will… wil… Zzz… Zzz…
Yes, I know, this is not a supplement, but I just must mentioned it. Nutrifirst was nice enough to include this shaker with my last order, so I thought, “why not use it?”. And damn, it’s convenient! I used to drink my pre-workout at my room (if I were to go to the gym from school, I would have to miss my pre-workout drink) and bring my intra-workout and post workout drinks in two separate shakers. But now, I just put my pre-workout in the main compartment, my intra-workout in the first container and my post-workout in the second container. Wallah! Less space, more shake! 🙂

Lastly, before I end this post, I just MUST reiterate that if you don’t get your training programme and most importantly, diet right, all the supplements will not help you to lose weight. So far, I’ve heard of people losing weight with exercise and diet without supplements but I’ve never heard of someone losing weight just by taking supplements alone.
