Say No to Meth. Say Yes to Life!
Hi guys, at Fabodylous, my message to you guys is to always live your life to the fullest, never give up and to keep on gunning for your goals, be it in bodybuilding or any other interest or field. One thing that could strongly prevent you from doing all the above is the highly addictive and harmful drug, methamphetamine.
Methamphetamine is a psychostimulant commonly known as ‘Ice’ in Singapore. It’s odourless and colourless. Effects include but not limited to restlessness, increased risk of heart attack, anxiety, hallucinations, meth mouth, fatigue and depression. Drug traffickers make them by mixing many ingredients which you would never want to put into your own body, including battery acid and drain cleaner. Many meth users get addicted to the drug and live an uninspiring, purposeless life.

I never believe in getting the temporary high in sacrifice of permanent glory. I’ve heard about meth several years ago and never had a single thought of trying it. I know that if I take meth, my life will be spiralling downwards and it’ll be hard for me to get back up. I’ve always believe in order to be a champion, you need to take responsibility of your every action, because those actions will determine your success in everything you do. Bodybuilding is my life and I’ll never ever do anything that will take that away from me. I think keeping fit has done a lot for me physically and mentally and honestly, the pump I get from training is my natural high.

That being said, I believe that there’s a healthy outlet for everyone to take to obtain that same good feeling but we just have to find it. I have found mine so it’s not impossible for you to find yours.

Thus, the message is clear. NEVER do meth. Not even ONCE. Live your life to the fullest. Live it LOUD! And Singapore’s Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) would like to support that message by inviting you to join Sportzamania, the anti-drug carnival on 16th September 2012 at Sports Planet East Coast.
